The Aussie Manchild Wins One For The Home Team
On Saturday February 21 Australia’s Slam Magazine held its annual Skater Of The Year award ceremony at the Bondi Beach Road Hotel in Sydney, Australia. This year’s Slam Skater Of The Year was none other than DVS’ own Andrew Brophy.
“Brophy rips,” says Podium Distribution’s Tim Gavin. “I'm glad everyone enjoys his skating as much as we do. He's definitely still celebrating!"
Brophy was hoisted high by hundreds of his fellow Aussies at the event and picked up a 5,000-dollar check from Slam Magazine for all his hard work in 2008.
